Official Launch July 1, 2008

Hi folks! As a proud Canadian, I am pleased to officially launch seahorseweb.com. On this day, Canada celebrates its 141st birthday as a nation - Happy Canada Day!

After several years of web design as a hobby, I am launching a part-time business of designing and building web sites. Currently I keep busy with my day job as College Professor but have really enjoyed the web design hobby on weekends and evenings. The year of retiring from my full-time career is not far away now. Of all the potential second careers, web design is the best fit for me. So my goal is to take on 1 - 2 projects at a time and slowly build my business.

My biggest project over the past few years is still active and currently going through a major facelift - www.oscaar.ca - where I volunteer as the series webmaster. To further build my portfolio, I took on projects with people who were willing participants - I thank them for their patience. The site www.davefranksphotos.com and its associated photo gallery were recently launched - see the links below. There are several other projects about to be released over the next few weeks.
